This is something that I was considering during this year's snowflake_challenge, it also covers a couple of unused prompts from other challenges and somewhere, somehow since then it's been stalled. Peggy meets Jessica Fletcher in 1949 and attempts to recruit her to SHIELD, there are no spoilers for either show and it assumes that SHIELD is still in the process of been set up. It's rated U with nothing to warn for.

Summary: Escha and Logy go on an adventure post-Atelier Shallie while stationed at Stellard, where things don't quite go to plan. They end up very lost in the Dusk Sea, where they have to find their way home while only having each other and their own dwindling resources to rely on. There's likely to be some fighting, some shippy moments, examinations of homesickness, and probably some stoically carrying on despite being injured and tired because home is not far away.

Summary: Oh no! The evil vampire has kidnapped Baron Leon Belmont! It's up to Sara, a girl whose main good point is a head for finances and administration and who has never lifted anything heavier than a ledger to go save him! Fortunately, powerful and recently widowed alchemist Countess Elisabetha is willing to help out however she can. There's no way this will go badly, not at all.
So yeah, it's a role-reversal of LoI where Leon gets kidnapped and Sara has to go save him because ha ha Elisabetha was just as nuts as Mathias, she just happened to be the one to die in canon. Plus an OC so Sara has someone to bounce off of in the castle (OC is sort of Liza from the LoI manga, as filtered through reading a summary and then forgetting almost everything in it). I'm not trying for a full novelization in the sense of detailing every room, more like important scenes from each area with special attention on the big moments.
My biggest problems in writing this myself are terminal laziness and an inability to plot.

Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay, and Ben will still be central characters, although one or two others may join them.
Relationships: Various canon Disney relationships. Jafar/Maleficent having been a thing in the past is also possible. (Although, aside from Belle/The Beast|Prince Adam, most of these ships are background ships. Since the children of said characters will be making appearances, I just felt it was best to list them.) For ships involving the Descendants teens, I’m generally undecided, though Ben/Mal is fairly likely because plot.

Summary: Just to get this out of the way: If you haven’t seen BatB 2017 and/or Descendants, that’s fine with me, so long as you don’t mind spoilers! I’d still love to have anyone who is interested as a cheerleader!
While Descendants certainly has its charm, it’s a goofy charm, and the film lacks a certain loyalty to the animated canons it is born from. I’ve wanted to re-approach the concept of a handful of villains’ kids being sent to Auradon to attend school and get a second chance for ages, and when I saw the live action Beauty and the Beast in March, I knew I wanted to put that version of the tale into my until-then forgotten fic. Unfortunately, since March, it has fallen into the forgotten category once more – but now I have a wonderful opportunity to work on it.
The story of Descendants, even in this interpretation, is a story about young people who were raised for very specific purposes, and who were always told to behave very particular ways, and then find themselves in a place where, while they’re far from adored, they have an entirely different set of expectations and a lot more freedom to be themselves. The question is, do they even know who they truly are? There’s lots of self-discovery, but also some action and adventure – it’s definitely got plot. The storyline will not be a simple copy-and-paste of the Descendants tv movie plot, though there will be plot-point similarities, of course.
Please note that the story will contain elements of (canon in Descendants and the accompanying books) child abuse – mostly emotional/verbal/psychological – and neglect. There will also be Disney-typical violence, up to and including (possible) antagonist death.
TL;DR: A re-imagining of the made-for-tv movie Descendants, with more depth, and greater loyalty to the original animated canons - except for in the case of Beauty and the Beast, which uses the 2017 live action film canon.

I've written over 13k of this but got stuck plotting out the rest and could really use some help with that!

Summary:
As someone who lives in downtown Toronto, I was outraged by events at the G20 Summit in 2010, and immediately thought of working it into a story.
My idea was to write a Forever Knight story. The series ended in 1996 with most of the characters killed off; so I decided on futurefic with Capt. Joe Reese as the main protagonist, since he is one of the few who survived the series finale. Assuming that those events froze his career prospects, he could still be in charge of the 96th Precinct, whose canonical location at/near Queen & Spadina puts it practically on top of the kettling incident.
Also, Reese has a wife and two daughters (never seen on the show). I thought I'd use Reese to represent the regular Toronto cops not involved with the security arrangements; his wife, Denise, to represent people like me who basically were concerned ahead of time, stayed clear, and only saw things on the news; one of his daughters to have a job or be shopping in a store that got trashed in the riots on June 26th; and the other daughter as a protester on June 27th.
Well, that was the plan. However, as the immediacy passed, I never did get down to writing the story. I've always meant to, though; so I have kept a collection of newspaper cuttings. What I need is a deadline. And a cheerleader should be pretty helpful, too.

Summary: Gako and Chiyo are two members of a Ganma-human extended family who have practically grown up together. They are technically genderless, but both consider themselves female, and they are in love. This poses some problems, as they consider themselves cousins, and also because Ganma society does not allow permanent relationships. Now the two of them, with the support of Gako's siblings and parents, must figure out how to live as they want while still letting Chiyo remain a part of her somewhat more conservative family. This borders on original fic as it is based on a interpretation that was very much jossed by canon events.

Summary: Sort of a vague Sunset Boulevard fusion I started to write for a challenge ages ago and haven't quite been able to shove into shape. Set in London shortly after WW2, film director Merlin catches pickpocket Eggsy trying to steal from him, but instead of turning him in is ~overwhelmed by his excellent face and wants to cast him in his next film. Eggsy (or Gary I suppose... will have to think up some kind of starry leading man name for him) doesn't know the first thing about acting, but he knows how to lie and how to fight so that's a pretty good start. Merlin puts him in touch with an old friend/lover, Harry Hart, who was a huge Douglas Fairbanks type star thirty years ago in Merlin's Kingsman Studios silents, to give him lessons in grooming and elocution and horse stunts and sword fights and whatever else. No dead people floating in swimming pools here, they're getting as much of a big swoony happy ending as possible for the 1940s. Just need to figure out some actual plot to happen alongside all the My Fair Lady stuff.

I want to write something casefic-y, probably one of Ciel's Watchdog missions, and that would end up involving Elizabeth and Sieglinde in some way and making use of their respective skills. With a healthy dose of h/c, because that's how I roll.

Although the latter is not necessarily a kink in this fic (the love scenes don't focus particularly on Ciel's age or size) Ciel is his canon age of 13, so be warned.

He mopes a bit, wants to hate Mumen Rider for what is happening, but eventually starts seeing how Mumen Rider is genuinely a nice guy. (and crushes a fair bit)
Meanwhile Saitama is slightly overwhelmed by finding himself with a full house and a boyfriend and Genos being weird around him now, Mumen Rider does the best to help them, as he does for everyone, King and Doctor Kuseno are good friends to Saitama and Genos when he can't help.

Summary: My aim is to finish at least one of these, and to make serious progress on the others. They're all about novella-length, though they might run longer.
- Regency-era rake/ingenu M/M, betting about deflowering the virgin, sex-Pygmalion-style. The rake falls in love; there's a lot of worship kink; feelings & #drama happen.
- Regency-era Nonpareil "wins" a stern aristocrat at cards then proceeds to make him wait. And wait. And wait. He's fake Russian nobility, the aristocrat is trying to uncover a criminal ring. This one is plottier than the former, and might turn out longer.
- Fantasy(ish) setting, M/M slavefic, somewhat convoluted dynamic: the now-deposed prince of a conquered kingdom is sold at auction to the ambassador who betrayed his country, thereby losing them the war. They have a lot of Bad History between them. Cue bedplay, service kink, a codependent relationship, politics, humiliation, etc.

Summary: First, the Elevator Pitch:Will Cartright is known in Gem City as the 'Shamus Who Knows No Shame' because he's willing to investigate superheroes and help hold them accountable for their actions. Or, as he puts it, "Who watches the watchmen? I do -- for fifty bucks an hour plus expenses."
When his friend Kylie hires him to clear her father's name after her Pop-pop is accused of murdering Titan of the Third Coast Crusaders, Will is reluctant to take the job, but agrees out of sentiment and because Kylie's other father (Howler's ex) is willing to foot the bill for Will's services. Loyalty to a friend is all well and good, but a client with deep pockets is nothing to be sneezed at, after all.
Will has to navigate the world of high profile heroes to get to the truth and save Howler -- and also get paid.
Meta Notes: Will was originally conceived as a "Reverse Batman" character -- namely, he's the child of minor supervillains who were unjustifiably killed by a vigilante hero when Will was a boy. Will has dedicated his life to being the one to keep those with great power accountable to their great responsibilities.
Howler is a Wolverine Expy and the Third Coast Crusaders are X-Men stand ins. Titan is Cyclops; Howler is accused of his murder because of a Logan/Scott/Jean style love triangle. I started this idea years ago and would like to finish it. I really need help in plotting out the Whodunit part of the story.
The genre is prose superhero fiction, along the lines of works like Seanan McGuire's Velveteen Vs. stories or novels like April Daniels' Dreadnought or Sara Kuhn's Heroine Complex. Essentially, this is an attempt at creating a comic book universe using words instead of pictures.

This is a mystery about the adventures of Ghost Poirot in the modern world. I'm a huge fan of the stories and want to do a supernatural themed story in the vein of the short story Poirot mysteries, so I'm predicting somewhere between 4k-10k.
There may be a little Poirot/Hastings shipping because I often felt that the series made it seem like at least one of them thought they were dating the other.

Summary: The walk back to Sabine after killing Lina and Edgar is a long one and no one is really in great shape. Naturally, this is the time to try to do it in one hit, get stuck in a snowstorm, have to huddle for warmth (unless you are a skeleton then you are of no help at all), tend to each other's physical injuries while doing a spectacular job avoiding talking about the emotional wounds this has left on everyone. Tropes are hypothermia, snuggling for warmth, emotional hurt/comfort, physical hurt/comfort, and families of choice. Canon levels of child abuse apply.
I'm looking for a cheerleader to help me get this baby off the ground. Cheerleading, beta-reading, squeeing with me about dumb character moments in the game - any and all of these would be dearly loved for this teeny tiny fandom.

The longer form: Takes place in the early 1990s. The Autobots and GI Joe have been working together to cross-train a group of Joes to be able to respond to attacks by Decepticons. Thanks to the machinations of a group of corrupt generals known as the Jugglers, the Decepticons learn of this training and Megatron orders the Combaticons to engage this new group and assess their capabilities. The Combaticons attack a toy company's HQ in Rhode Island in order to call the Joes out. The Joes respond and the battle goes in the Combaticons favor until Onslaught gives the order for the team to merge into Bruticus. A lucky shot by the Joes severely injures Onslaught and turns the battle into a stand off between the Joes and the Combaticons.
I started this fic back in 2007 and for reasons I cannot adequately explain, I never finished it. It's hung over my head for nearly ten years now and I'd like to finally finish it.

So yeah, it's a role-reversal of LoI where Leon gets kidnapped and Sara has to go save him because ha ha Elisabetha was just as nuts as Mathias, she just happened to be the one to die in canon. Plus an OC so Sara has someone to bounce off of in the castle (OC is sort of Liza from the LoI manga, as filtered through reading a summary and then forgetting almost everything in it). I'm not trying for a full novelization in the sense of detailing every room, more like important scenes from each area with special attention on the big moments.
My biggest problems in writing this myself are terminal laziness and an inability to plot.

Summary: Just to get this out of the way: If you haven’t seen BatB 2017 and/or Descendants, that’s fine with me, so long as you don’t mind spoilers! I’d still love to have anyone who is interested as a cheerleader!
While Descendants certainly has its charm, it’s a goofy charm, and the film lacks a certain loyalty to the animated canons it is born from. I’ve wanted to re-approach the concept of a handful of villains’ kids being sent to Auradon to attend school and get a second chance for ages, and when I saw the live action Beauty and the Beast in March, I knew I wanted to put that version of the tale into my until-then forgotten fic. Unfortunately, since March, it has fallen into the forgotten category once more – but now I have a wonderful opportunity to work on it.
The story of Descendants, even in this interpretation, is a story about young people who were raised for very specific purposes, and who were always told to behave very particular ways, and then find themselves in a place where, while they’re far from adored, they have an entirely different set of expectations and a lot more freedom to be themselves. The question is, do they even know who they truly are? There’s lots of self-discovery, but also some action and adventure – it’s definitely got plot. The storyline will not be a simple copy-and-paste of the Descendants tv movie plot, though there will be plot-point similarities, of course.
Please note that the story will contain elements of (canon in Descendants and the accompanying books) child abuse – mostly emotional/verbal/psychological – and neglect. There will also be Disney-typical violence, up to and including (possible) antagonist death.
TL;DR: A re-imagining of the made-for-tv movie Descendants, with more depth, and greater loyalty to the original animated canons - except for in the case of Beauty and the Beast, which uses the 2017 live action film canon.

As someone who lives in downtown Toronto, I was outraged by events at the G20 Summit in 2010, and immediately thought of working it into a story.
My idea was to write a Forever Knight story. The series ended in 1996 with most of the characters killed off; so I decided on futurefic with Capt. Joe Reese as the main protagonist, since he is one of the few who survived the series finale. Assuming that those events froze his career prospects, he could still be in charge of the 96th Precinct, whose canonical location at/near Queen & Spadina puts it practically on top of the kettling incident.
Also, Reese has a wife and two daughters (never seen on the show). I thought I'd use Reese to represent the regular Toronto cops not involved with the security arrangements; his wife, Denise, to represent people like me who basically were concerned ahead of time, stayed clear, and only saw things on the news; one of his daughters to have a job or be shopping in a store that got trashed in the riots on June 26th; and the other daughter as a protester on June 27th.
Well, that was the plan. However, as the immediacy passed, I never did get down to writing the story. I've always meant to, though; so I have kept a collection of newspaper cuttings. What I need is a deadline. And a cheerleader should be pretty helpful, too.

Set in London shortly after WW2, film director Merlin catches pickpocket Eggsy trying to steal from him, but instead of turning him in is ~overwhelmed by his excellent face and wants to cast him in his next film. Eggsy (or Gary I suppose... will have to think up some kind of starry leading man name for him) doesn't know the first thing about acting, but he knows how to lie and how to fight so that's a pretty good start. Merlin puts him in touch with an old friend/lover, Harry Hart, who was a huge Douglas Fairbanks type star thirty years ago in Merlin's Kingsman Studios silents, to give him lessons in grooming and elocution and horse stunts and sword fights and whatever else. No dead people floating in swimming pools here, they're getting as much of a big swoony happy ending as possible for the 1940s. Just need to figure out some actual plot to happen alongside all the My Fair Lady stuff.

- Fantasy(ish) setting, M/M slavefic, somewhat convoluted dynamic: the now-deposed prince of a conquered kingdom is sold at auction to the ambassador who betrayed his country, thereby losing them the war. Loyalty to a friend is all well and good, but a client with deep pockets is nothing to be sneezed at, after all.
Will has to navigate the world of high profile heroes to get to the truth and save Howler -- and also get paid.
Meta Notes: Will was originally conceived as a "Reverse Batman" character -- namely, he's the child of minor supervillains who were unjustifiably killed by a vigilante hero when Will was a boy. Will has dedicated his life to being the one to keep those with great power accountable to their great responsibilities.
Howler is a Wolverine Expy and the Third Coast Crusaders are X-Men stand ins. Titan is Cyclops; Howler is accused of his murder because of a Logan/Scott/Jean style love triangle. I started this idea years ago and would like to finish it. I really need help in plotting out the Whodunit part of the story.
The genre is prose superhero fiction, along the lines of works like Seanan McGuire's Velveteen Vs. stories or novels like April Daniels' Dreadnought or Sara Kuhn's Heroine Complex. Essentially, this is an attempt at creating a comic book universe using words instead of pictures.

Summary The short form: G1 Transformers and GI Joe crossover. The Combaticons invade the United States and things don't go as smoothly as they planned.
The longer form: Takes place in the early 1990s. The Autobots and GI Joe have been working together to cross-train a group of Joes to be able to respond to attacks by Decepticons. Thanks to the machinations of a group of corrupt generals known as the Jugglers, the Decepticons learn of this training and Megatron orders the Combaticons to engage this new group and assess their capabilities. The Combaticons attack a toy company's HQ in Rhode Island in order to call the Joes out. The Joes respond and the battle goes in the Combaticons favor until Onslaught gives the order for the team to merge into Bruticus. A lucky shot by the Joes severely injures Onslaught and turns the battle into a stand off between the Joes and the Combaticons.
I started this fic back in 2007 and for reasons I cannot adequately explain, I never finished it. It's hung over my head for nearly ten years now and I'd like to finally finish it.

Themes include convoluted politics (when one of the parties is royalty and the other is a commoner), heaps of hurt/comfort (offscreen initial injury and recovery), worldbuilding (because game mechanics :P ) and open minded cultural exchange (the OC is not human). Tropes - assuming I get that far and don't decide the epic needs to be cut off at the nice, simple, just-hooked-up stage - include unplanned mpreg and borderline underage by modern definitions.

I love that the Pandaren initially refer to Varian Wrynn as 'Emperor' instead of 'King', and really, I just want to play dress-up costume design with Anduin, who I could imagine adopting local style while at a diplomatic summit. So this can be summed up as "Emperor Wrynn and Court", and me experimenting with attempting both a refined speed paint style of art and more color/light consideration than normal. Cheerleaders would be welcome to join an art livestream if we can match up a good time.
